Kalchevo hosting customers get Standard included. Every plan takes the buyer's card through Stripe; Stripe's own card fee (about 1.5% + 20p for UK cards) applies on every plan and is not ours.
How the fee works
A worked example
You sell a £10 ticket on Pay as you go. Our fee is 4.5% + 25p, so 0.70 on that ticket. You choose per event who pays it:
The buyer pays £10.70 (shown as £10 plus a booking fee). You receive £10 minus Stripe's card fee.
The buyer pays £10.00. You receive £9.30 minus Stripe's card fee.
A £0 ticket costs nothing on any plan, ever. Free events on the free plan, or free tickets inside a paid event, carry no fee.
On Standard our fee is 1.5% + 15p per paid ticket, and on Pro it's 0.75% + 10p per paid ticket: both much smaller than Pay as you go, on top of the flat plan price. Refund a ticket and our fee on it is returned to you in proportion.

Pay as you go switches on from your Plan page with nothing to pay up front. Standard is £9.99 a month or £99 a year and Pro is £24.99 a month or £249 a year, both paid through PayPal from your Plan page, both for one organiser, renewing until you cancel. FAQ
Questions about pricing
What counts towards the monthly ticket allowance?
Tickets sold online through your event page in a calendar month, not counting cancelled ones. Comps and door sales your staff add by hand never count. Pay as you go has no allowance at all.
What happens when I go over the allowance?
Nothing, the first time. We let two months over through with a friendly email. Only in a third month running would new online sales stop at the limit, and even then your events, staff logins and every ticket already sold carry on. Move up a plan and it opens up straight away.
Can I sell paid tickets on the free plan?
The free plan is for free events. The moment you want to charge for a ticket, switch to Pay as you go from your Plan page. There is nothing to pay up front, just the per ticket fee when you sell.
Is there a minimum term?
No long contract. Monthly plans can be cancelled any time; yearly plans run for the 12 months you paid for. Cancel the renewal from your dashboard and you drop back to the free plan with your events, orders and settings intact.
Who pays Stripe's fee?
Stripe charges the organiser for taking a card payment, the same as any card machine or online shop. It comes off before the money reaches your bank. Our fee is separate and is the only thing we charge.
I host with Kalchevo. Do I pay?
No. Kalchevo hosting customers get the Standard features and limits included. Send us a message and we will switch it on.
What if I need more than 10000 tickets a month?
Talk to us about the Group plan. It is priced per organiser and limits are agreed with you.
